Registration open from 9:00am, Walk starts at 10:00am, Event close at 12:30pm.
Length of walk is 6km.

Online Pre-registrations close on Friday 8 May 2009. Registrations can still be made on the day.

Overview
There will be many prizes for winners in the following competitions:
1) The youngest pet owner to participate in the walk
2) The smallest pet
3) The oldest pet
4) The best fancy dressed pet
5) The best animal trick
6) The dog with the waggiest tail
7) Owner / pet look-a-like
The most unusual pet
9) Judges special award
There will be merchandise and information stalls, such as FAWNA, NPWS, Vets.

Online pre-registration fees have been set to suit national levels and are the same of every regional event across Australia. If will be cheaper to register on the day the the Taree MPW, however by pre-registering for this event 100% of your fees will be forwarded to RSPCA Taree to further support their local animal welfare initiatives.

There is plenty of parking free of charge.
