Overview
The Tweed Shire MPW will be a fun morning. Registration will start at 9am with the walk starting at 10:00 -10:15am. We will be walking through the park onto the beach, then south along the sand and back up to the starting point. The sight of 100 - 150 dogs all walking together on the beach is an amazing sight.
At the finish line there will be demonstrations and competitions for you and your dog to participate in like hurdles, agility, waggiest tail, dog/owner look alike and others. We will also have displays to look at from local businesses and community groups, council rangers to talk to, hydrobaths for your sandy dog, stalls for something to eat and goodies to buy for your pampered pooch. Our MC on the day will be Maggie Anne and we are hoping for a visit from the Hot Tomatoes roving team the 102.9ser. Come on down and check it out.
