On Sunday 17th May 2009 join thousands of animal lovers at Elder Park in Adelaide and enjoy a scenic walk along the River Torrens.
Following your choice of either a 2km or 5km walk there will be entertainment, doggy demonstrations, doggy washes, doggy games and a chance to win a year’s supply of dog food thanks to Hills Science Diet.
There will also be several walks happening simultaneously around SA on Million Paws Day – that’s a lot of pooch power! From Berri to Port Augusta, South Australians and their pets will walk in support of the RSPCA……..
BERRI - The walk will be at the Berri Riverfront along the Lions Walking Trail, starting at 10.30am. Register from 10am adjacent to the tourist office, $5 for individuals, $15 for families. HAWKER - The walk commences from Blue Burt Park. Register from 10am, cost is $5 per person. Walk starts at 10.30am. Enjoy a scenic walk within Hawker followed by an obstacle course for pet owners and their best friends and a healthy lunch at Hawker’s Biggest Doggy Day Out of the Year.
