TAS

It’s almost that time of year again, and plenty of pets are panting in anticipation. The annual RSPCA Million Paws Walk will be held on Sunday May 18 at various locations around Tasmania. Remember, it’s the event for dogs, where people tag along!

It’ll be a great day for the whole family with some fantastic prizes up for grabs. Not only is it a spectacular day out, it helps raise essential funds to continue the many valuable services the RSPCA offers the community. It also increases people’s awareness of the responsibility they have to animals.

Pre-register now and receive a free RSPCA gift. Bring your four-legged friend, yourself, your family, friends or even your team and enjoy a special day jam-packed with entertainment, pet awareness, competitions and light exercise for you and your furry friend. Remember, if you don’t have a furry friend, you’re still more than welcome to join the festivities. Our pet parades and “doghouse” photos were a great success last year – so come along and see what all the fun’s about!

In 2007, we had over 6000 pounding paws and raised more than $30,000 which went towards caring for the thousands of animals at our shelters.

RSPCA’s Million Paws Walk - have fun, and raise awareness and much-needed funds for the thousands of animals who come through our doors.
