It’s almost that time of year again, and plenty of pets are panting in anticipation.  The annual RSPCA Million Paws Walk will be held on Sunday 17 May 2009 at various locations around Tasmania. Remember, it’s the event for dogs, where people tag along!

It’ll be a great day for the whole family with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.  Not only is it a spectacular day out, it helps raise essential funds to continue the many valuable services the RSPCA offers the community.  It also increases people’s awareness of the responsibility they have to animals.

Pre-register now to receive a discount!

Bring your four-legged friend, yourself, your family and friends and enjoy a special day jam-packed with entertainment, pet awareness, competitions and light exercise for you and your furry friend. Remember, if you don’t have a furry friend, you’re still more than welcome to join the festivities. Our pet parades and “doghouse” photos were a great success last year – so come along and see what all the fun’s about!

In 2008, we had over 6000 pounding paws and raised over $33,000!

RSPCA’s Million Paws Walk - have fun, promote responsible pet ownership and raise money for the RSPCA.

Want to fundraise further?  When you register online, why not create your own personal fundraising page and ask everyone you know to sponsor you!  All money raised goes directly towards helping the thousands of animals that rely on the RSPCA in Tasmania for their care and protection.
