Tasmanian Corporate Challenge
2008 will see a bigger and better Million Paws Walk and we want you!
Register your organisation to join the RSPCA Tasmania’s Million Paws Walk Corporate Challenge, get as many
sponsors as you can and have the opportunity to win a fabulous prize for your office. You’ll not only be raising money for a fantastic cause, but you’ll have a great family day out too!
How does it work?
Organise a team of four or more people from your organisation, choose a team name, and register for the Million Paws Walk Corporate Challenge. Once you’ve got your Corporate Challenge Information Kit, secure as many sponsors as possible. If sponsors want a receipt for their donations, indicate this with a “Y” on your form and RSPCA will mail one out. You need to deliver your sponsorship money and forms to your local shelter by Friday 30 May 2008 to be eligible to win a prize. Bring your team, your families, and your four legged friends along for a walk with great competitions and activities.
What can my organisation win?
A prize will be awarded to the organisation whose team raises the most sponsorship money in Tasmania.
How do I Register?
Visit www.rspcatas.org.au to download your Corporate Challenge Kit or contact your local RSPCA shelter and have them mail one out. You must register your team before Tuesday 29 April 2008, and in addition to the chance of winning the fantastic prize, each member of your team will receive a free bag of treats for your dog. You will also receive a complimentary photo in the ‘Dog House’ of your whole team to put up at work.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support a worthy cause and promote your workplace while having a great day out. You could even organise matching uniforms to promote your organisation. Don’t forget to ask the boss to meet the registration fee.
What if I don’t have a dog?
If you don’t have a dog, don’t worry - you can still join in! There may be RSPCA sponsor dogs on site, plus it’s a great day out. So get registering and collecting your sponsorship!
Remember, the more sponsors you get, the more money that can be raised to help the animals.. and the better your chance of winning that fantastic prize.
